Frequently asked questions
Everything guests usually ask before arriving in Ulcinj - the pool, the beach, parking, kitchens, check-in times and what we can arrange for you. If your question is not here, write to us and we will answer personally.
+ Does Blue Star Apartments have a swimming pool?
Yes. The property has a seasonal outdoor saltwater infinity pool with a children's area and a jacuzzi, free of charge for all guests, plus sun loungers and a sun deck around it.
+ How far is the beach?
The 12 km long sandy Velika Plaža is around 600 m from the property, an easy walk, and Mala Ulcinjska Beach is about 4.4 km away while Valdanos Beach is about 8 km away.
+ How far is the centre of Ulcinj?
Ulcinj town centre is around 2 km from Blue Star Apartments and the Old Town of Ulcinj is about 4.8 km away, both a short drive or taxi ride.
+ What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 12:30 to 23:30 and check-out is until 09:00. Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance so we can welcome you properly.
+ Is parking available?
Yes, free private parking is available on site and no reservation is needed. We can also arrange car rental if you would like to explore Montenegro on your own.
+ Do the rooms have kitchen facilities?
The apartments and studios have their own kitchenette with refrigerator, kitchenware and in most cases a dining table, while guests in smaller rooms can use the shared kitchen.
+ Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the property and is free of charge.
+ Is breakfast served?
There is no restaurant on site, but guests are welcome to prepare and enjoy breakfast on their own balcony or terrace, and a bakery, grocery store and restaurant are within about 200 m.
+ Are families and children welcome?
Children of all ages are welcome, there is a playground and a children's pool area, and family rooms and apartments sleep up to five guests. A crib is available on request for 2 EUR per child per night, and children aged 11 and above are charged as adults.
+ Are pets allowed and is smoking permitted?
Pets are not allowed and the whole property is non-smoking. Quiet hours are between 23:00 and 09:00.
+ Which languages do you speak?
Our family speaks Montenegrin, Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian, English and German.
+ Can you organise activities?
Yes. We are happy to arrange hunting and fishing trips with licensed instructors for an additional cost, and there is a tennis court about 600 m from the property.
